The Literary Trail

This trail is a treat for booklovers and leads you to places made famous by local authors, whilst also offering a selection of second hand bookshops to explore.

It starts in Wells-next-the-Sea, with a visit to the Old Station Pottery and Bookshop. The trail leads you along the coast via several other bookshops to Paston. Here you can learn more about the Paston Letters before visiting the ruins of Bromholme Priory.

The trail includes a visit to the Hill House pub, made famous by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and ends with two bookshops hidden away in the countryside at Blickling and Alby.
