The Transport Trail

From fire engines to wherries, motorcycles to steam trains, this trail has got the lot! Your day begins with a journey on a steam train along the ‘Poppyline’. On arriving in Holt, you can explore the William Marriott Museum and learn about this famous rail engineer.

North Walsham is home to The Cat Pottery and Railway Junk Yard, full of railway memorabilia. Nearby is the Norfolk Motorcycle Museum, crammed full of classic motorcycles.

We end the trip in Stalham with a visit to its Firehouse Museum and the Museum of the Broads.
